Hope everyone enjoyed 2006, I know I sure did. The first half for me was enjoyable. I got deployed to a wnoderful land of sand for six months. The last half was more relaxed and enjoyable because I came home and spent it with family and friends. The years come and go... I have noticed that the year is coming and going a lot faster has you get older. I can remember when I was in school, the time went by so slow. The school year seemed like it got longer each year. But when I graduated, the years went by so fast, blink and you lost a year. Anyways.

Since the last post, this is what has been going on for us... NOTHING!!! This year we were suppose to go to Hawaii with Dad, Mom, Linh, and Trang for Christmas but plans changed. oh well Hawaii well always be there. Dad and Mom stayed home. Linh and Trang went up north. Nyoka, Dominic, and I went home to Lousiana. Mom, Sam, Chenoa, Aron, and Chris were to meet up with us in Lousiana. It was fun times. Nyoka's mom side of the family had a reunion. It was fun, the food was great and the company was fantastic. We saw a lot lot of the family this time. Again the food was great.

Naturally everytime we're in Lousiana, I was go hunting with uncle Bill. This time was for sure that I was going to see a deer and get a kill. Yet again I failed to see and kill a deer. Uncle Bill had brighten my day up when he showed me a newspaper article that showed a 47 yr old man just shot and killed his first deer. maybe next time, that's what I always say to myself.

Spending New Year in Lousiana in always fun and thrilling. Here I get to buy fireworks and they're the kind that go bomb in the air. Thats right aerial fireworks. the fun ones. The first time that I was in Lousiana was during New Year 2002 and better believe that I bought fireworks that year too. It was great. It was the year that I meet some of Nyoka's family, both sides.

Anyways, I'll close it for now. Here are some pictures from the trip. Enjoy...
